I wanted to show you some of my pens.
This is the one I used to write you. It’s a Montblanc 146 from ~1978. It’s a lovely pen. I think the 1970’s was the high of MB, an honestly many pen manufacturers were creating very elegant high end pens.
People are paying upwards of $1K USD for a modern 146, and they don’t even have ebonite feeds anymore. These older ones are the best- I think I got this one for $350.
Here is the Dinky I acquired. Oh my gosh I can’t believe how small it is! I didn’t realize they are literally dinky! It’s such a vibrant color!
Here are my Pelikans I mentioned. I have one more but it’s boxed up in one of my storage cases. They are both from the 1950’s.
Here is the new model I mentioned. I think it’s so beautiful!
The nursing strike is still going on. The last few week it’s been so cold! They are savage! Hopefully both sides will come to an agreement soon.
